The University of Sciences of Salamanca hosted the celebration of the XV National Materials Congress from 2018 July 4 to 6, which on this occasion was held in parallel with the “I Iberian Meeting on Material Science”. Around 350 participants attended this event, where various aspects related to the characterization and advanced application of materials, advanced materials for energy, metal smelting processes and materials innovation in the industry were discussed. Therefore, Strategic Minerals Spain could not miss the opportunity to attend this meeting to present the progress made in the R & D activities related to the processes of smelting of metallic materials.
